CDCo templates is a subsidiary of Community Design Company LLC. We are here to offer you easy to use DIY Squarespace templates and affordable maintenance service for those templates.

When you purchase a template from us, we get your order and within 48-hrs we send ownership of that template to your email address. You then accept the invite and we’ll transfer ownership to you.

You then edit your website by adding your own text/images. All of our templates use Squarespace Unsplash images which are free to use.

These templates are sold to be DIY, meaning you add content yourself. This is generally an easy process as you are simply editing the blocks and pages we’ve already designed for you. However, if you require hands on design assistance for a template you can purchase that service here.

Most of our templates are on Version 7.1 unless otherwise noted. 7.0 templates are available upon request. If you have an existing site on 7.0 and want to move to 7.1, contact us for options.

Refunds are not available after 5 days of purchase and are only provided for approved reasons. (This means not every request will end in a full refund).

If you experience an issue with your template, need help editing your site or using any Squarespace features please contact us first! We’re happy to offer additional help or point you in the right direction.

Yes! When you get a template from us you can customize in any way you prefer as much as you prefer. If your template is on version 7.1 use the paint brush icon in the top right corner to change colors. On 7.1 you can change your entire color palette, one color in the theme, etc.

Sites on version 7.0 have template specific options which you can locate via the Website > Design > Site Styles panel.

Yes! Like with colors, you can change fonts as needed.

For sites on version 7.1 click the paint brush icon and select Fonts. You can choose a new font pack which will be applied automatically throughout the site or click the individual settings. If you want to change the font for a specific setting without impacting other areas, use Assign Styles. Keep in mind, not all settings have their own font functions.

For sites on version 7.0 go to Website > Design > Site Styles to locate the font settings available for your template.

CDCO Templates offers base templates with no SEO filed out. As our templates are DIY, you will need to manually setup SEO. Keep in mind that Squarespace sites automatically optimized to appear in search results and Google typically takes a few weeks after a site goes live to index a site in their results. The key is patience.

Many of our templates already have commerce/stores features enabled. If you purchase a template that does not have a store or commerce you can add a store page in your Website > Pages panel.
